If you are in Tioman Island and you want an exciting, unforgettable and amazing adventure then head on down to a dive site. Grab your oxygen tanks, suit up, gear up and dive down under to a beautiful underwater world where sea creatures teem. Of all the other diving sites in Tioman Island, Chebeh Island has the best visibility and the best diving experience. Although the waters above are choppy, you will barely notice a current under the water, making the diving a more pleasant experience.

The site is on the northern most part of Tioman Island and takes about half an hour to reach by boat but the time getting there is definitely worth it. The descent is slightly longer and the dive is quite a deep one; making the site more suitable for avid divers. Here you will find an infinite garden of coral reefs of many unique species. Spot yellow corals, stone corals, table corals and even the green hornet coral. Here you can also spot gorgonian sea fans and is certainly a great field day for your underwater camera. In a nut shell, the dive is certainly the best site and is an unforgettable experience.

Diving is an unforgettable experience. In Tioman Island, you have just the best opportunity to dive in some of the most beautiful diving spots. What’s more is that you are much often spoilt for choice. To make things a lot easier for you, why not read on and maybe consider the Malang Rock diving spot to be put into your must-dive-at list!

Malang Rock is near the southern end of the island and you can see the many huge rocks by the diving area. This spot is good for beginner divers who are not too confident about going too deep into the water. Your adventure starts with a 10 minute boat ride from the nearby village on the main island. Visibility here is quite good, making it safer for new divers and the underwater world teems with sea creatures. Here you can spot many species of corals and fish swimming around. Pavona calvus corals, plate corals, green horn corals and sea anemones are found in large numbers here. It is an adventure as you swim through the large sized boulder rocks around the diving spot and look through the occasional openings that play home to the many unique species of fish and sea creatures. It certainly is an unforgettable experience.

When in Tioman, diving is a must. The waters are normally hazardous during the monsoon season but the rest of the year is suitable for divers from around the world to explore the beauty of the underwater world off the shores of Tioman. One diving site that is considerably good is the very small island of Pulau Renggis. Grab your gear; take a short boat ride from the village of Tekking or Lalang Beach and head on down to the diving site. This small island is right in front of the popular Berjaya Beach Resort and offers an amazing and unforgettable experience for divers.

Here, the highlight of your diving experience will be spotting a giant green turtle. There is nothing better than seeing for yourself the amazing creatures that call the dive site their home. You can also spot sea anemones following their clown fish around and not far from the dive site, your diving instructor will bring you close up to a ship wreck. It certainly is an unforgettable experience.

Diving in Tioman Island is certainly an amazing experience. When in Tioman, do make some time to go for a dive on any one of the many islands around Tioman. In the middle of the bay in Salang, lies a beautiful spot that has attracted divers from all over the globe to come here and experience the beautiful underwater world. Reservation is necessary to avoid disappointment due to the large crowd of people who come here for their adventure.

The starting point of the dive starts just behind a scuba diving shop and after a short boat ride out to the spot, divers are instructed to swim a couple of meters to a buoy where their adventure begins. The descend is not a very deep one. As with all wreck diving sites, visibility beneath the choppy waters is not so good. A little while off the descend and your instructor will direct you to the wreck which is a huge ship. Here, you can see the amazing teem of unique sea creatures nestled near the wreck and is certainly a field day for your underwater photography skills. Spot beautiful fish, oysters, and soft corals that make the site their home and be mesmerized by the life under the waters.

Off the coast of the main Island of Tioman is a small island that is a patch of shrub and small land. From the Salang village, this island is an insignificant one but it is a significant one for every diver who goes out to this point to begin their diving experience. Gear up, suit up and get ready for a dive like no other at this Soyah Island!

The water here is quite choppy and the dive begins on the more rocky side of the island and your diving instructor will guide you towards the west of the island to show you the best of the underwater world. The dive is about 10 meters and you can see many unique creatures here. One disadvantage of the spot is the really strong currents even under the water. The spot has some unpredictable currents so it is wise to always follow a guide who is well versed with the local currents. However, the spot is teeming with nature and the many beautiful and unique species of coral reefs are a big bonus for any first time diver. Come and admire the clown fish and their sea anemones, the stingrays that gracefully swim by and the gorgonian sea fans. These are just a few names of the many species of sea creatures you will find here.

While in Tioman, diving is a must. If you have never ever gone under water, you could start off at the Panuba bay. The water here is a little on the shallower side when compared to the other more popular dive sites but it is much safer to start small if you are a new diver. Although it is a dive site for beginners, it does not have any exception to its wide array of sea creatures. Here, you can spot many soft and colorful species of fish, swimming around.

The coral reefs are a spectacular site, especially so with the many beautiful fish swimming around. The descent is a short one just to introduce you to the diving experience. The experience is certainly an unforgettable one. The water is crystal clear and visibility during your dive is very good as compared to some other dive sites around the island. If you are lucky you may even spot some cat fish, rabbit fish and even the gentle giants of stingrays.

Anyone coming to Tioman Island will definitely find themselves spoil for choices of diving spots. One good spot to consider is the Bahara Rocks. This dive site is among the best dive sites to dive in, being isolated in the sea mounts; this site is usually open to strong currents and is the major shipping line for passenger boats and fisherman.

This site is amazing, especially if the weather is good and thus the best time to come here is when the monsoon season is not on. Descending for 45 minutes, you will be mesmerized with the creatures teeming here and how beautiful the underwater world really is, especially with the many colorful species of corals here. Tourists have spotted rare sightings of whale sharks and manta rays in this dive spot, so do pray that you are lucky enough to spot one!

In Tioman, you will definitely find yourself spoilt for choices as you choose which destination you should dive at. Well, read on and see why you could be diving at the Labas Rock spot. This particular spot is located towards the western part of the island. The waters here can get choppy but on most days, diving is safe. The best time to come to the island is when the monsoon season is not on, which is any month besides the months of November to December. The dive is not so deep and is suitable for even the average and beginner diver.

Your journey to the bottom is a short one and to reaching the diving spot will require a short boat ride. At this diving spot, the species of fish will astound you. Don’t pass up this opportunity to swim along many species of fish and even see the gentle sting-rays swim by. The visibility in this dive is not that great, whereby the next 8 meters are not to visible due to the suspension of particles in the water. Tiger fish are quite common in this diving spot as well as sea-fans.

At Salang Reef North, children and first time divers can also join in the fun of diving and exploring a whole new world under the sea. Diving classes are offered at many of the diving centers around the island of Tioman for a reasonable and affordable price and is necessary before taking a dive in the beautiful waters.

The Salang Reef North promises an easy dive with a five to ten meter descent and the pressure is not too high for the younger crowd. Beginner divers usually start out here to get first time experience in diving. Here, you can find many beautiful species of coral and fish. There are stone coral, table coral, green horn coral, the branching stag horn coral, the boulder like coral and even the yellow pore coral. Species of fish here are not too many but the dive site is a good start out experience for all new divers before they feel confident enough to progress to the other deeper dive sites on the island.

The post Salang Reef North first appeared on Tioman Vacation, Tour Package and Hotels.

Diving is a must when in Tioman because the island has waters off its shores that promise an adventure like no other. Off the coast of Tioman lies the Salang Reef South. Getting there is an adventure in itself; which starts off with a swim or a boat ride from the Salang beach. The descent is not a very long one. Visibility here is quite fair, even under water and before long you can see the wide coverage of patches of corals and the many unique and beautiful colorful fish swimming around the reefs. Here you can also see many rabbit fish, butterfly fish and the beautiful gold-barred butterfly fish.

Before you begin your diving adventure, it is always good and encouraged to read up about the many beautiful species of fish that call the site their home. The variety of rabbit fish in this particular diving spot is great. If you are lucky you may even have the chance of spotting a sting ray!
